Most of us spend weeks trying to find the perfect pair of shoes for that
special day! However it seems that these days the bride on average now
has three
pairs ready for their big day. This may seem over indulgent, but a girl
has to keep her options open!
The perfect shoes not only have to be comfortable, but look great and
make the bride feel like a million dollars
As far as fashions go, wedding shoe designs don't tend to change as
often as regular shoes on the high street, but you will
see a great range of bridal shoes including beaded, peeptoe, diamante or
plain satin.
Depending on how many pairs to have, is just one of the many issues a
bride has to face when putting together their wedding outfit.
Other concerns range from whether to go for closed or open toe, sparkly
or plain, high heel or low. Some brides I have it on good authority
have even opted for designer wellies to arrive at the venue in, only to
change into their high heels for the event and then changing again into
some low heels for the nights activities.
As far as colours go,
white wedding shoes and
ivory wedding shoes still lead the way. But other popular colours
include
silver shoes and
gold shoes, as well as
brown shoes and
pink shoes.
In terms of pricing, you can really spend as little or as much as you
like on your wedding shoes. It can often be said that a good pair of
shoes
starts from £100 upwards. But we have a range of wedding / bridal shoes
starting at just £15.00 rising to £40.00. Our aim is to bring you good
quality shoes as great prices whilst retaining the quality and making
you feel a million dollars on your special day.
Some quick tips.....
The best time of day to try on your shoes is the afternoon, by this time
your feet have warmed up and this will be similar to how they will
be on the big day.
To really ensure they are ready for the big day, put on a pair of pop
socks, put your feet up and watch TV, this will ensure they are
broken in but will still look perfect.
And lastly, on the day put some talcum powder in the toes of the shoes
to keep your feet cool!
